How Career Accelerator supports you
Career Accelerator isn’ t a single program. It’ s made up of different kinds of support that show up in different ways. Some help you stay across opportunities, some build skills, and others help you gain real experience. Start with what’ s useful now and come back when you’ re ready.
Frameworks that help you reflect, make sense of where you are in your journey, and decide on next steps as your goals evolve. At UNSW Business School, you’ ll do a lot of your career thinking through Career Compass.
Platforms that you return to when you want to learn more about career development opportunities, and sign up when something feels relevant. The platforms you’ ll be using regularly are the Career Accelerator website and myCareer Manager.
Communities where you can connect with your peers informally over shared interests and goals. You might find that getting involved in things like Peer Assisted Study Sessions( PASS) or a club makes other Career Accelerator opportunities easier to step into later.
Events where you can listen, ask questions if you choose, and build understanding through being present. They’ re usually 60-minute, one-off commitments and include things like workshops, information sessions, and employer talks.
Channels that help you stay across key career development opportunities and events as they come up. We’ ll add you to the BCommunity Teams channel and subscribe you to The CAtch newsletter.
