Introduction
Well here we are with another issue of Under Construction @ Keele. This issue saw a large
staff change over and I want to repeat the Editorial Board’s welcome to all our new committee
members. The fresh ideas and enthusiasm they brought along has, I think, had a positive
impact on this issue. The challenges of postgraduate study are many, and the fact that so
many people are always willing to take up the challenge of helping Under Construction
continue and thrive shows the enthusiasm and dedication across Keele’s postgraduate
community.
As I am assured by previous Editors-in-Chief, the publication process is rarely without
hiccups, and this issue has been no exception. However, I would like to personally thank the
Under Construction team for responding enthusiastically to the challenges as they cropped
up. Our new staff members have thrown themselves into their roles admirably making my own
role that much easier. As I take leave of the journal at the end of this issue, I feel confident I
leave it in good hands.
Even as this issue goes to publication, we begin preparations for our next issue. Make
sure you keep an eye out for our Call for Papers and Call for New Members. Either as authors
of articles within these pages, or as part of the Under Construction team, this journal is
sustained and created for, and by, the postgraduate community at Keele.
