Event 14
Luke Woodhouse claimed victory in Event 14 of the Challenge Tour season, but his campaign was not without its difficulties. The Worcestershire based thrower began with a 4-2 victory over Jamie Landon in the opening round, before moving on to defeat Shane Edwards 4-3 in the second round. The third round saw the 24-year-old claim a 4-1 victory over Curtis Bagley, before a whitewash victory over Gaz Cousins set up a semi-final clash with Ryan Hoggarth. The semi-final proved to be one of Woodhouse’s tougher tests, but he emerged with a 4-2 victory to set up a final clash with Ben Ward.

Event 15
Ricky Evans got his event off to the perfect start as he defeated talented Dutch youngster Jimmy Hendriks 4-1 in the opening round, before moving on to end the challenge of Rowby-John Rodriguez with a 4-3 victory in the second round. The third round saw Evans produce a whitewash victory over Ryan Harrington, before he sealed a semi-final spot with a 4-1 victory over Michael McFall. Things got tougher from then on in however as Evans took on an impressive Adam Hunt in the semis, a 4-2 victory saw him through to the final, but not without a few scares. In the final Evans faced off against Ben Ward, who was competing in his third final of the weekend, and the duo put on a great display of darts. In fact it took Evans all seven legs to secure victory and prevent Ward from claiming a second event victory of the weekend.
Ward was looking for a second victory of the day, but after a n fine form, with defeating the experienced duo of Shaun ny WestGriffiths 13. Jan Dekker he was to fall short as in Event and Woodhouse produced a fine display to claim a 4-1 ed success in Event victory final o seal quarter and seal the £500 first prize.
