Editors Intro...
Welcome to another issue of UK Darts. It’s hard to believe that this is
the seventeenth already, although it feels like it this month!
I can’t recall a month that we have done more travelling to bring you
the magazine. We have been to Birmingham, Blackpool and Essex all
within the last couple of weeks and all with the aim of bringing you the
best darts coverage around.
To that end we have some great pieces this month on Phil Taylor’s quest
to regain his number one spot and Gary Anderson’s hunt for a first
major since 2011.
We also have full coverage of the BetVictor World Matchplay, the
European Darts Open and all of the tournaments around the BDO circuit
that have taken place in the last month.
Our time in Essex was spent at the launch for the new Target product
range and we have a great little piece on our experiences throwing
their latest designs as well as more insight into the softip game which
I had an opportunity to play whilst at Target HQ
Finally we look back at the career of Francis Hoenselaar and the legacy
of great Dutch lady players that she has left behind.
We hope you enjoy reading the magazine as much as we have enjoyed
putting it together.
