Editors Intro...
Well here we are again, another month has flown by in the
blink of an eye and it is time for another issue of UK Darts.
This month has been a particularly enjoyable one for me and I must
send my thanks to Steve, Scott, Julia and the BDO Events team for
making me so welcome during my coverage of the World Trophy.
You will find the reports for this along with all of the other PDC and
BDO tournament news inside the mag. We also have a great feature
on Phil Taylor’s switch from Unicorn to Target written by the highly
knowledgeable Jamie Shaw from Live Darts, along with a whole host of
other features, reviews and news articles.
We continue our Book Club with a review of the third of Dave Kirby’s
coaching manuals, another must buy in case you were wondering, and
we also venture in to covering exhibition darts for the first time with
a look at what is up and coming and also what to expect from from an
exhibition with World Champions Eric Bristow and Keith Deller.
For this I must thank Jim Buckley for inviting me to attend a great
exhibition in my hometown Ormskirk, Lancashire with the two great
players and also the players themselves who were very obliging when
it came to photographs.

Finally we have another classic match from Liam Newman, who this
month looks back at the 1992 World Championship final between Phil
Taylor and Mike Gregory.
I hope you enjoy reading the magazine as much as we have enjoyed
putting it together.
