On Thursday 6th February sixteen of the World’s top lady dart
players descended on the Tower Ballrooms in Blackpool to
compete in the inaugural BDO World Trophy.
Organised by BDO Events Ltd the tournament represents the hopes of
the BDO moving forwards and also a major step in increased television
coverage for the ladies game.
It was, therfore, one of the definining moments of eventual champion
Anastasia Dobromyslova’s career, and will rank alongside her three
World Championship victories as one of
her greatest ever achievements.
