Expo 2020 Dubai Host Committee appointed Trivandi in 2015 to support them in designing the operation of the site .
Early involvement was important to :
• Optimise the site architectural masterplan to assure operability
• Crowd modelling and develop crowd management planning to design entry plazas including concourse widths
• Develop a concept of operations and operational plans across 12 key functional areas - including venue operations , logistics , transport , catering and waste etc
• Develop plans for the site Zone and Section operational command structure
• Prepare contingency plans , emergency evacuation plans etc
• Develop site safety strategy and a safety assurance risk matrix
• Develop the Last Mile plan to design the carparking , entry and arrival points and road infrastructure network serving the site
