Avinash Primalani
Hi! My name is Avinash Primalani, I am from Hong Kong and this is the
eighth year in the International Baccalaureate Program. I have just finished
my Personal Project which I have been working on since September. I really feel that I have completed this project to the best of my ability. The product that I had made for my Personal Project is a 3D Brain Model to clearly
show the areas of the human brain and where exactly addiction takes
place. I chose something along the lines of video game addiction since I
can relate to this based on personal experience and I have learned to truly
value what I am interested in.The Personal Project has made me feel more
comfortable about going to Year 11 next year since I have learnt numerous
amounts of techniques which will help me succeed and take it to the next
level.
Sumin Lee
Hello my name is Su min Lee, I am a 17years old Korean student. To briefly talk about my hobby, I’m quite interested in watching movies, listening to
music or designing something new. My initial personal project topic was
painting on shoes, but I had to change the topic, because my final goal or
global context was too ambiguous; therefore I couldn’t carry out the project.
So my new topic of personal project is cell phone addiction. The reason
why I decided to work on this topic was the fact that I had once been addicted to my cell phone and, I could learn about seriousness of cell phone
addiction and how to get over this problem through the experience. In other
words, I wanted to help those students who are addicted to their mobile,
but don’t know the proper solutions to their problem. Also particularly, my
topic is focused on ‘Korean students’, because I had thought that lots of
Korean students are addicted to their mobile.
I made a poster to simply explain about the problems or relevant solutions
for each, so you can come to see my poster if you are addicted or getting
addicted to your cell phone. It doesn’t matter whether you are Korean or
not, because everything on my poster is written in English.
Thomas Stuart Leeson
My name is Thomas Leeson, I am from Argentina and I am 15 year
old. My project is to make a series of short videos on how to build a computer for teenagers.
The reason I made a series of videos on how to build a computer is because I like to film, and I wanted to learn on how to build the computer. I
also chose this topic because I am a bit camera shy, So trying to be behind
a camera will be a learning experience for me and it will be a risk taker.
