English Language Requirements Students whose native language is not English must generally demonstrate their proficiency by achieving a score in a test such as Academic IELTS, TOEFL or Pearson (PTE Academic) (see table below). Other English language tests may also be accepted as proof of English language proficiency. Students who have successfully completed two years of full-time study in which the language of instruction was English may satisfy the entry requirement. This combines studying English at the JCU Pathway College or other approved provider, plus your offer of placement in a JCU academic program.
