Academic Entry Requirements
The following is a guide to JCU’s minimum academic entry requirements for Bachelor degrees. Some specialist degrees have a higher entry level. If your country is not listed below, please check the table of academic entry requirements on page 44 or enquire at www.jcu.edu.au/international. Students who have already completed an undergraduate degree (or part of) in their home country are also able to apply to study an undergraduate degree at JCU and may be eligible for credit.

Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2 years of schooling) conducted by the Bangladesh Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. “Diploma de Ensino Médio” (Middle Education Diploma) or the old award, the “Certificado de Conclusão de 2º Grau” (Certificate of Conclusion of Second Level) with a minimum GPA of 8 out of 10 (average of all scores gained during their studies) Satisfactory completion of one year of study at a higher education institution or approved foundation program Gao Kao score required for entry into a second tier university in the relevant province, or successful completion of one year or more of full-time tertiary study or equivalent; or Hui Kao score of 80% for Business.
