DIPLOMA OF INTRODUCTORY ENGINEERING STUDIES
This is a one-year course of introductory engineering and mathematics subjects. Successful completion may lead to entry to JCU’s Bachelor of Engineering depending on subjects studied. Course highlights Science (General) aims to meet the needs of two groups of students. If you do not meet the prerequisites of the disciplinary majors under the Bachelor of Science degree you can use this general major as a pathway into the disciplinary majors. Alternatively, some students choose to stay in the general major as it offers you the flexibility to complete a wide variety of science subjects from different discipline areas.
