UCUMC Servant Spotlight! We have so many cheerful servants here at UCUMC that you may not know. Each month we’ ll feature a few of those who serve at UCUMC so you can get to know a little bit about them. Check out our first servant spotlight:

Favorite Movie, or Sports Team:“ Ferris Bueller’ s Day Off” for movie and since sports seem to rule our household, I have to say“ Go Man U!”

Why I serve: I have a passion for helping people, especially children. I enjoy taking on leadership roles where I can help serve others. I find it fulfilling that a little hard work on my part can make someone else’ s day a little easier and therefore brighter.

NEW LIFE Group starts May 15th! Many Christians have bought into the lie that we are worthy of God’ s love only when our lives are going well. But God is calling us to come openly to Him; He loves us and accepts us as we are. Join Pastor Ray and others as we explore what it means to be“ Abba’ s Child”! This group will meet for 12 weeks on Wed. beginning May 15th! This will be a truly discussion oriented group where we will attempt to see each other and ourselves as God sees us! Called to Serve( C2S) Sunday is fast approaching! This year C2S will kickoff on Sunday, June 2nd! C2S will be a time for you to make a new serving commitment or to re-commit to the area where you currently serve! There are dozens of areas where you may serve here at UCUMC so we are sure there is a place for you to connect and use the gifts that God has given you to serve this church and community! This year the commitment for C2S will be made online. If you want to get a head start on the serving opportunities, Click Here to login to myUCUMC. Once you are logged in, look under the“ I want to View …” heading click“ Available Serving Opportunities”. There you will find a listing of open opportunities as well as descriptions, serving commitments and leader contact information.
