↑ Lu Yin , Marshall , MS ’ 18 , PhD ’ 22 , ( pictured right ) and Xinyu “ Alan ” Liu , Sixth ' 19 ( pictured left ) were listed in the 2024 Forbes “ 30 under 30 ” Science list for their startup Persperion Diagnostics . The company aims to revolutionize the monitoring of glucose levels through the use of sweat on fingertips instead of finger pricks .

Ned Randolph , PhD , looks at sea level rise vulnerability and fossil fuel production in and around New Orleans , South Louisiana and the Mississippi River in his new book , Muddy Thinking in the Mississippi River Delta : A Call for Reclamation . The book is based on his dissertation at UC San Diego .
Abby Sherlock , Marshall , associate game producer for Riot Games , landed on the Forbes “ 30 under 30 ” North America 2024 games sector list for her work platforming and supporting women in the video game industry .

Salvador Zamora , Muir , MFA ’ 23 , sound designer , received the coveted Princess Grace Award in 2023 in recognition for excellence in theatrical arts .
