Of late, we have admired the presence and melting expression of several Craigowl dogs including ENG Ch. Craigowl Billy Elliott, ENG Ch. Craigowl Santana and ENG Ch. Craigowl Out of the Blue. There are many Pascavale dogs that we have admired over the years for their beauty. We health test on annual basis as recommended by the ACKCSC and the CKCSC USA. We do heart and eyes testing with Board Certified Specialists. We test for patella annually and hips at two years of age. We do echoes on senior dogs to monitor progress or changes in cardiac status. We test for Episodic Falling, Dye Eye and Curly Coat as recommended by the AHT. We assess puppies at eight weeks as is suggested by Pat Hastings. We often have a friend Judy Vanderlip who is an AKC judge of English Springer Spaniels, Welsh and English Cockers helps us as she is very good at structure coming from Sporting. We evaluate them on the table and as they move around freely in the yard. We have had input a few long time breeders who are familiar with these lines and how they develop particularly heads and expression. We are looking at head shape, balance and angles. This includes that youngster or young adult that we CKCSC and AKC GCh. Magical Touch at Judyland Like many, we admire the beauty, the type and the health that was achieved with by the famous Thornhill Kennel with ENG Ch. Alberto of Kindrum and we are blessed to have his name and genes appear and often doubled up on in many of the pedigrees of the (Continued on page 13) 11
