Input devices:
Input and output devices are
those devices that exchange (or
send) signals with the PLC.
Each input device is used to know
a particular condition of its
environment, such as
temperature, pressure, position,
among others.
Among these devices we can find:
Inductive magnetic, optical
sensors, pushbuttons,
thermocouples, thermistors,
encoders, etc.
Output devices:
Output devices are those that
respond to the signals they
receive from PLC, changing or
modifying its environment.
Among the typical output
devices we can find:
Motor contactors
Solenoid valves
Indicators or simple relays
