REGIONAL DISTRICT A5

The confidence and respect shown by the Regional District A5 community
in calling me to be their Regional District have inspired me with feelings of
the most profound gratitude; but when I reflect that the acceptance of the
office imposes the discharge of the most arduous duties and involves the
heaviest obligations, I am conscious that the position which I have been
called to fill is surrounded by great responsibilities. Happily, however, in the
performance of my new duties I shall not be without able cooperation.
My predecessors in this position present prominent example of
distinguished urbane attainments and matured experience, and it shall
be my endeavor to call to my assistance in the District individuals whose
talents, integrity, and purity of character will furnish ample guaranties for the
faithful and honorable performance of the trusts to be committed to their
charge. With such aids and an honest purpose to do whatever is right, I hope
to execute diligently, impartially, and for the best interests of the organization
the manifold duties devolved upon me.
Aware of this heavy responsibility trust upon our shoulders, we compelled
ourselves to plot our direction as we ENGAGE. CONNECT. SUCCEED, to unite
RD-A5 community to advance architecture as professional craft and shape
a more liveable and sustainable future.
For the reason that each member plays an indispensable role for the
attainment of our goals, we should always be reminded that the productivity
of our heads, our hands, and our hearts is the source of all the strength
we can command, for both the enrichment of our lives and the sustenance
of our greatness.
On behalf of the RD-A5 Council Officers and Members (FY 2014-2015),
I salute the excellent performance of the administration before us under the
able leadership of Arch. Juanito A. Vinta. Herein, the incoming leadership
reaffirms its commitment to honest, effective, efficient dedicated and
transparent governance.
