HENRY STEVE R. OLONAN
Editor-in chief / Quezon City Chapter
“Both enthusiasm and pessimism are contagious. Which
one do you spread?”
Despite criticisms, problems and people who try to put
the organization down, Steve is unfazed and has has never
changed his enthusiasm about contributing ideas and articles
for The Post for the past two years. He believes that in
order to be happy, you must practice being happy. He says that doing this constantly will
surprisingly become like second nature.
Steve strongly believes that “Happiness is not having what you want. It’s wanting what
you have.”
CARLO FUNDADOR B. MARUDO
Associate Editor / Quezon City Chapter
Seven Things that will destroy us:

GRACE EDRALIN
News Editor/ Quezon City Chapter
Being in the academe, Grace continues to dig for more
quality in the built environment and she finds that
integrating the green landscape with green architecture is
the key to a better life. While studying landscape
architecture, she believes that a responsible designer
should be considerate in accommodating not only people
and climate but also the local vegetation.

JOSEPH O. CALASARA
Design and Layout/ Quezon City Chapter
Sep always wanted to become a “do-gooder”. Aside from being
responsible for the uap post hip and contemporary look as the
design and layout director, he is the new editor –in-chief of the
uap qc publication, architectonics. He considers his active
involvement as a simple pleasure. For him, it evokes feelings of
contentment and satisfaction that soothe frayed nerves. It gives
extraordinary quality to otherwise “ordinary days”.
KARL ARIES EMERSON F. CABILAO
Corresponding Editor / Sugbu Chapter
The writer-architect gets sporty in this concluding issue of
the UAP Post for FY 2006-2007, as he chronicles the birth
of two architects’ sports clubs in Cebu . And just like the
proverbial cherry on the cake, he gives salutations to the
hardworking UAP leaders of the past fiscal year in his
column. Speaking of salutations, he sends his kudos to his
fellow editors in the publication – Steve, Carlo, Grace,
Mark and Joseph – for a job very well done. Definitely, in
one way or the other, we have made our marks in this
organization. To my colleagues in the UAP, see you all in
Cebu …soon! ;)
