wheat ( Wintergold ) are the best for this area . They had strong leaves and didn ' t wilt , even with less water . But other types like Antonius and Apache didn ' t handle water stress as well . This study can help to choose the right wheat variety , especially as droughts become more common and soil preparation affects water availability .
