At the UAB Campus Recreation Center you will
fi nd everything you need to stay active under one
roof, including free weights, court sports, swimming
pools, group fi tness classes, a rock climbing wall,

WALKING TRAILS
Employees can take advantage of half-mile and
mile-long indoor and outdoor walking trails
throughout the medical and academic campus.
The UAB Medicine indoor trails are on the second
fl oor of the medical center, and the outdoor trails
wrap around the buildings.
UAB EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELING CENTER FOR
SUCCESSFUL WORK-LIFE INTEGRATION
Designed to provide employees and their immediate
household members with resources for resolving
work-related and personal problems, the UAB
Employee Assistance and Counseling Center

Go online, complete your interview and co-pay,
and have a board-certifi ed clinician review your
symptoms and provide a prescription or treatment

UAB Medicine employees and eligible dependents
that are enrolled in a UAB, UAB Health System, or
UA Health Services Foundation health plan.
