Share Ideas and Communicate with Leadership
There are many ways for employees to provide feedback and submit their ideas on how we can improve. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to use the resources below to voice your opinion and help us make UAB Medicine even better.
ASK LEADERSHIP / From ONE, you can use the“ Ask Leadership” section to submit your questions, comments, or ideas to UAB Medicine leadership. Submissions are presented to leadership on a regular basis, and responses are often published in various internal publications or on ONE.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT SURVEY / Faculty and staff complete an anonymous electronic survey to provide honest feedback and hold our leadership accountable for making improvements on our behalf. We listen to your feedback and use it to strengthen alignment, enhance communication, and improve your work-life balance.
Recognize Others
EXCELLENCE IN ACTION / Using the online Excellence in Action form, employees may recognize coworkers who have gone above and beyond their normal job responsibilities. Patients and visitors also can use this form to recognize staff members who have done an outstanding job. The form is available at uabmedicine. org / EIA, and we encourage you to take the time to let your teammates know that you appreciate their hard work.
Depending on where you work, your organization or department may have additional ways for you to voice your opinion and provide feedback. Be sure to ask your manager!
