Healthy Eats With Chef Val
White Bean Dip
Having little snacks for our company when they first arrive to your house, for our Holiday gatherings, is a great idea. However you do not want to make something elaborate to distract form the main dinner. It can be easy to create a dip to serve with fresh vegetables and crackers. This recipe uses a food processor, so young readers will want to have their parents help with the processor. White beans are an excellent source of high fiber, protein food. High fiber foods are great for your over all health. The majority of your daily intake of food should be high fiber food such as beans. Beans provide an ideal protein food without all the high fat. Protein foods help build muscles. And you know what is the biggest muscle in the body? The heart. And we all want a healthy, happy heart. When buying canned beans I always buy Eden brand. They are organic, and their cans are chemical free. Also no added salt in their canned beans. Make this easy dip to serve your guest as they first arrive and you will be sure to please their taste buds.
