SciFest is a science fair programme that takes place at local , regional , and national level . It is f r e e t o e n t e r a n d participation is particularly suited to TY students . Last year over 8000 students participated . National winners compete at Intel ISEF in America and INESPO in the Netherlands . SciFest inspires creativity and innovation .

Promoting Science , Technology , Engineering a n d M a t h s ( S T E M ) careers to secondary school students . Smart Futures connects young people with STEM role m o d e l s b y t r a i n i n g volunteers across the country to visit schools and deliver free career talks . Students learn more about what people working in S T E M actually do , what skills they use and why they love their jobs .
