We would like you all to join in and make this magazine, and Two Magpies Racing, more interactive.

We look forward to you telling us a bit about yourselves, eg. how your interest in racing started, have you worked in racing, have you met a horse, trainer or jockey you could tell us about?

Also any photos you might have too ..... we can have more pages than this but we are limited to one a month at present.

looking into Maggie's breeding and relatives, including a few photos, and we can find out a bit more about her.

We will also give you some information about some of the training possibilities we have looked into and any details we have received from them.

The latest news about Maggie from the stud.

AND

we will be giving details of a naming competition as it's something we need to start considering, so get your thinking hats on !

Anything

Although Maggie's mother, Lady In Chief, is not part of Two Magpies Racing, she is carrying a full brother or sister to Maggie which is due in March and we will keep you updated on any news when it happens.

Latest News !

After speaking to Zoe & Mervyn this week, they have advised that we leave it a few more weeks before getting Maggie broken to let her get a bit stronger.

Although her fieldmate Molly has gone to be broken, we must remember that she is 3 months older, being born in March.

Zoe said they have had horses broken by several trainers and pre-trainers in the past and it was suggested they try M Jones in Gloucestershire. They have now sent 3 or 4 to him recently and are really pleased with the results. He has a very good set-up and he prepares them until they are close to being ready to run before going to a trainer.

I think I will talk money as we never have so far. Maggie's keep to date has been £8 /day plus wormers and farrier. When breaking starts it will then shoot up to £25/day. The current number of members won't cover this so we will make up the money for this to get Maggie another step closer to the racecourse.
