back to those who have made your life feel just as full and happy.
Where would we find your books... in an app or on a shelf? My books are definitely on a shelf! I’ m a big believer in the tactile experience, a physical book just feels more real to me. I love the smell of the paper and the ability to scribble in the margins. Back in college, my back would ache from carrying around so many books.
Tell us about your family: Wife: Taylor Kruse and Son: Isaiah Kruse
What do you do to unwind? The roads or trails to go for a long run.
Where would we find your books... in an app or on a shelf? Both, I love physical copies of books the most, but I also have a library of books in audible that are my go to for when I’ m running or mowing grass.
What is your favorite movie? 28 Days Later...
The United States is.... the most beautiful place on earth.
What is your motto?“ No matter how dark or cruel the world gets, ALWAYS DO THE RIGHT THING!”
I owe it all to.... My dad, who made so many sacrifices to make me into the man I am today.
Fun fact about you: I love to write adult fiction books and kids books. I find the process of writing relaxing and exciting at the same time.
Where do you find your inspiration? My family, my co-workers, and my friends. I surround myself with people who will only challenge me to be a better person.
Where do you volunteer? Charlestown, at any event I can.
Why do you volunteer? I want to give back to the community that gave me so much when I was growing up. I owe Charlestown so much and I plan to give it all back to them. From coaches, teachers, neighbors, friends, strangers. I’ m where I’ m at today because of them.
What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is Ratatouille, specifically for the line:‘ Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.’ This film has been a constant in my life since I was a little girl. My father was a single dad who worked endlessly so watching it on repeat with my father, who was a chef meant a lot. Some of my most cherished childhood memories are of him filling our kitchen with smiles and laughter every time he picked up a knife or a pan. Because my father didn’ t just cook, he made it a family experience. As the daughter of an immigrant, that quote resonates deeply. It reminds me that my background isn’ t a barrier to excellence, it’ s the foundation of it. Watching that movie was one of the primary ways my father and I bonded, and his joy in the kitchen is the same spirit I strive to bring to Bloom Coffee every day.

Congratulations Chief Eric Kruse
