Through a Jewish Lens April 5 - April 22 Artists’ Reception: Sunday, April 8, 2 – 4 pm Eight Tucson Hebrew High students spent a semester exploring the concept of Jewish peoplehood and the basics of photography. The show consists of the students’ photographs in response to the prompt, “My Connection to the Jewish People.” Watercolors by Ann Lapidus and Jeanne Hartmann April 23 - May 17 Artist’s Reception: Sunday, April 29, 2-4pm Ann Marcus Lapidus creates abstract paintings with a vivid palette. Ann has a B.A. in art from Pomona College and a semestrial degree from the Sorbonne in Paris, France. Jeanne Hartmann attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee studying art, music, and theater. She studied art history in Paris, came back to the States and joined the circus. She was the magic genie and show painter for the Royal London Magic Circus. NEW! Fine Art Gallery Arts For All May 18 – June 28 Artists’ Reception: Sunday, May 27, 2 – 4 pm Arts for All, Inc. has been in existence since 1985 providing arts experiences, education and training to our Tucson community. The artwork displayed is created using various adaptable techniques developed by the artists and their teachers that enable the artists with physical disabilities to wield a brush through the hands of a trained tracker.
