NEW ! Hong Kong Style Mah Jong
Tuesdays , February 6 - March 13 , 10 am - Noon Mah Jong , a popular skill game originated in China , is played with four players . Defensive strategy , observation , good calculation skills add to the excitement and involves a degree of luck . Mah Jong Set comes with Chinese tiles dice and a wind indicator . Social Mah Jongg

Poker Strategy
Wednesdays , January 31 - March 7 , 6 – 8 pm Six-week course , students will be set on the right track by learning poker fundamentals which include which hands to play , the role of bluffing , the strength of your opponent ’ s hand , table position , limits you can afford , pot odds strategy , and eliminating bad habits . Advanced Texas Hold ’ em Strategy
Wednesdays , March 14 – April 18 , 6 – 8 pm Being an expert poker player isn ’ t just reserved for those with money , time , and brain power . Everyone starts somewhere and this course guides students in strategies . Odds theory , reading body language , patience are a few of the skills practiced to avoid jumping straight into a game of poker without really knowing what is happening . Knitting / Crocheting Group
Fridays year round , 10 am Members of this congenial group knit and crochet squares which are assembled into afghans . The finished blankets are donated to a local shelter . Chef Kresler will show you his techniques of taking a basic sauce foundation and turning it into a variety of sauces and dishes as well as how to produce several non-tomato based sauces . When one ponders Italy and Italian sauces we always think of Nonna cooking for hours in the kitchen . The fact is that many sauces are called short or express sauces and they are prepared while pasta is cooking . These last minute sauces should be part of your repertoire .
