From the Director
For the first time since I started we have been able to welcome guests to Winchester and with confidence arrange to meet you in venues across the country and even around the world . To keep us honest we have sent all Old Wykehamists a very short survey to enquire what events you want from us . This follows hot on the heels of a similar survey sent to all current parents . If you have not seen the survey , or have forgotten to complete it , here is a link you can follow . Although time will be short when this Trusty Servant is printed and despatched , there are several half cases of wine to be won by lot from those who have completed the survey by Christmas .

Over 120 sat down to a delicious lunch in New Hall , produced by Katrina Lane and her fabulous team . Guests listened to speeches from the Chairman , David Fellowes , Clarissa Farr , standing in for the Warden and from Adam Rattray , Head of Art History , who gave an illustrated lecture on the exploration of Everest in the 1920s and on the Old Wykehamists , including Mallory , who had been involved .
