Win Coll Futures
Careers support for Old Wykehamists as well as for current pupils is growing apace . Panel discussions are held approximately monthly during term time for the benefit of Wykehamists and sixth-formers from neighbouring schools . Topics being tackled during Common Time include : A Career in the World of Sport ; Working in the Corporate World ; A Life in the Armed forces
Although the panels only comprise three or four members , we welcome applications from male and female speakers .

Calling Old Collegemen .
Each commoner boarding house has held a recent dinner to celebrate its 150 th ( or Beloe ’ s 100 th ) anniversary . History does not relate whether a Centennial or Sesquicentennial celebration was held for College , but there will be a Collegemen ’ s Dinner in Winchester on the evening of 2 nd April 2022 satisfy current Old Collegemen . Numbers will be limited , but if there is substantial oversubscription , we will consider holding a second dinner . Registration will go live in January . Please look out for the invitation and if there are no places left when you try to register , please persevere and contact Win Coll Soc to be included on the waiting list or get a priority place at a reprise dinner .
Parents Drinks Parties
We were delighted to welcome parents to two receptions in New Hall : parents of JP and MP on 1 st October and V Book and VI Book Parents on 6 th October . It was a pleasure to welcome so many people back into the College after a long absence . We look forward to seeing you all again at the Parents Summer Drinks Party the night before Winchester Match on 17 th June 2022 .
Friends of Winchester College
The Short Half programme of events for the Friends has been extensive and has benefitted by the Friends being offered access to lectures and talks already taking place in the College . Highlights have included the Everest evening on 23 rd September , a talk by the journalist and author Ben Macintyre about two spies who changed the course of 20 th -century history , a lecture by the former
Cabinet Minister , Jeremy Hunt MP , and a lecture about War Cloister by David Fellowes , a previous Director of the Friends and of Win Coll Soc .

Wykeham Week 2022
Following the success of Wykeham Week in 2020 , the College will hold it again in the week leading up to Winchester Match , 13 th – 18 th June 2022 . We will have at least as much ambition and we hope as much success . The financial aim of Wykeham Week will be to fund the sports equipment to be housed in the new Sports Centre . The temporal aim will be for as many parents , Old Wykehamists and other members of Win Coll Soc as possible to be involved and to enjoy the activities .
Winchester Match 2022
This will be held on Saturday 18 th June and will be the first Winchester Match for three years . We hope to welcome you to Winchester in record numbers . The usual activities and entertainments will be laid on by the College , but catering arrangements will be slightly different . Instead of the formal ticketed lunch for OWs , lunch will be available on Lavender Meads in a more relaxed manner . More details will follow . Lunch in
