Sporting News
Much of the OW sporting news in the last edition focused on hopes for reopening matches this year . We are delighted to report on the following two OW fixtures that took place as soon as social-distancing rules allowed .
Golf In the first OW golf fixture since the partial easing of lockdown , a team of OWs led by Christopher Cornell ( K , 53-58 ) played a team of Riflemen , led by Cameron Reeves ( F , 68-73 ) on a cold but sunny spring day at the Berkshire . The outcome of the match depended on the last of eight pairings , which the Rifles edged . The final result was 4½- 3½ in favour of the Rifles .
