No. 140 The Trusty Servant
Melbourne, 29 th July When Melanie Bushell( Director of Development) planned her holiday to Australia last month, she could think of no better way of spending her final evening than having dinner with OWs in Melbourne. While it might have been a dark, damp winter’ s evening outside on 29th July, the mood inside the local hotel was
relaxed and convivial, and many reminiscences were shared. Hon Ments go to Andy Byk and Patrick Medley who had arranged to be in Melbourne rather than( respectively) their native Sydney and Perth. Joey Yusof Vessey( D, 1998-03) had hoped to join but was sadly detained by work at the last minute.

St Andrews Pizza Christopher Normand( F, 76-81, Director of Win Coll Soc) made his biennial visit to OWs at university in Scotland during Short Half. First stop was St Andrews on 30th September. George Smedley( A, 17-22) kindly made the arrangements on the ground.
Edinburgh Pizza Second stop was Edinburgh on 1st October. Kate Robinson( A, 20-24), who had kindly arranged the venue, was called away so couldn’ t attend. Archie Sillars( A, 17-22) took over the guest list and even persuaded a couple of latecomers to join halfway through the meal! Algy Bullen did attend, even though he has been truncated in the picture by the photographer.
