So as for my rut, I’m writing now so I guess I’m no longer in it. This helped me realize that there is no perfect post or perfect light bulb idea like I was waiting for. I just needed to get off my butt and actually put in the work. You can’t just sit down and expect ideas to fall in your lap. No! You need to work for them and search till you find them.
I used to be one of those people who hated the idea of doing all the cliche blog posts like tags and “get to know me” videos but those kinds of things are important. They give you time to relax and just do things and give your brain time to finalize its thought process. Those posts don’t require a lot of planning or thinking so they are like space fillers to allow for more quality good work to be made.
I just needed to get out of my head and do something anything. And guess what? I did. I mean you're reading this aren't you? I just started writing and trying new things and styles and eventually, motivation came and now we have a magazine. look at God! Well here's to all the past and future frustrations and boredom; you are hell but you are needed because you are the pain before the birth of greatness. So I thank you for the greatness and thank you for showing me that I could do it. I am grateful and look forward to meeting you in the future.
