Meet Spike!! He likes where he lives, he has a unique dorsal fin, he LOVES to eat and he is very photogenic. The first time I landed Spike was in early July 2013. I had the privilige of landing him again in mid-August. Spike is a shining example of why I choose to do what I do (catch and release flyfish) He's also visual proof that Trout Porn and even "out of water" one handed photos do not kill trout. Fly fishing photography WHEN DONE PROPERLY does not harm fish whatsoever. Spike fought a very amazing and very different battle both times. I have an affliction for fly fishing photography and media (mainly grip and grin photos) I will always be an advocate of the "out of water" shot and defend it from the elitism and scrutiny it often comes under. I choose to catch and release trout so myself or someone else can be blessed another day. Thank you "Spike" until we meet again. ~ Stoney
