Santa Fe Opera
The Santa Fe Opera has commissioned and produced many new
American operas, beginning with “The Tower” in 1957. With 14 world
premieres under its belt, the Opera debuted another in 2017: “The
(R)evolution of Steve Jobs.” Guests can take part in tailgating before
shows or Preview Dinners at its Dapples Pavilion, which is surrounded by
the opera’s gardens and offers views of the New Mexico sunsets. Shows
slated for 2018 include “Candide,” “The Italian Girl in Algiers,” “Ariadne Auf
Naxos,” “Madame Butterfly” and “Dr. Atomic.” Groups are seated together
at reserved tables, and complimentary round-trip shuttle service is available
between the parking lot and the award-winning, open-air theater.
