What time are you open?
The Main Library is open 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm
Monday to Friday. We also have a 24-Hour Reading Room
attached to the library which you can use at any time.
Can I use the Internet?
Yes. Internet access is available to registered library users.
Complete a registration form at Library Issue Desk and we will
set you up with internet access on library computers.
Can I search for full text articles?
Yes. We have access to a number of journals and databases on
subscription. When you register for access to our e-resources
we will give you an Athens Username and Password which you
can use from anywhere. Full text articles are available for our
journal subscriptions. In addition, databases may provide
additional full text.
Can I use my Athens account at home?
Yes. Your Athens account can be used from absolutely
anywhere - in your office, at home and even on holiday!
I can’t find suitable articles. Can you help me?
Yes. Simply contact us and we will arrange a time to do a
literature search with you on your chosen topic.
I am looking for a full text article. Can you get it for me?
If the article you are looking for is not available in the library
we can order the full text through inter-library loan (ILL) for
you. ILLs will only be ordered for Rotunda Research or study
purposes. Articles can only be provided in hard copy format.

Can I borrow books?
Yes. All registered library users can borrow books for a
renewable period of one week. Terms and Conditions Apply.
Can I study in the library?
Yes. The main library and the 24-hour reading room have
desks where you can study in a quiet environment.
