In her annual state of the city address in January , Mayor Razmus emphasized the importance of infrastructure improvements .
Infrastructure , in general , has been a topic of much discussion throughout Kentucky , as much of the pre-existing structures or roadways were completed decades ago and not necessarily designed to withstand modern population levels .
Mayor Razmus indicated in her speech that there would continue to be ongoing work and developments to improve the infrastructure in Corbin .
