• Union College Boys & Girls Club : offers free after-school and summer programming for Knox County children
• Ramsey Center for Health and Natural Sciences : features state-of-the-art laboratories used by Union students as well as by local health care professionals pursuing continuing education
• Union College Center for Health and Learning : houses the Stivers Aquatic Center and a full gym available for campus and community use
• Lights for the football and softball fields : these upgrades , donated by Martin Williamson , support Union ’ s athletes , local youth sports , and other campus and community activities
During Hawkins ’ tenure , she served as President of the North American Association of Methodist Schools Colleges and Universities , President of the Appalachian Colleges Association , and Vice-Chair of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges . She is Union ’ s first female president and has been one of the longest-serving current college presidents in Kentucky .
