A COOL AND COZY

LOFT INSPIRED HOME

When you walk into this Toronto home designed by Glen Peloso, you instantly feel that mix of comfort and cool that is hard to get just right. The idea from the start was to create something that felt like a soft loft or a modern Brownstone, but still fit naturally into the neighbourhood. It is a family home at heart, but with just enough edge to make it interesting.
The brick exterior sets the tone and gives the house that warm, urban feel. Inside, iron and glass doors break up the open concept layout in a way that keeps everything connected but still gives each space a purpose. Glen always puts function first, so every choice supports how a family actually lives. There are heated floors, lots of places to tuck things away, a kitchen with five appliances, and bathrooms that are simple, practical, and beautifully lit.
