TIMELINE December Figure 24 A ticket competition to win two VIP Twickenham tickets to a match of your choice. The competition will be advertised in-store and online, through Facebook boost posts, Instagram Sponsored posts and Twitter trending tweets, alongside posts on Michael Kors’ own social media pages. As it is Christmas time the competition can be advertised as the perfect gift. To enter consumers much subscribe to e-mail newsletters. January Figure 25 A marketing campaign photoshoot at Twickenham Stadium, promoting suits, is going to take place. The campaign is going to feature England Rugby player Danny Care, who is well- known and has a 124k follower base on Instagram. Towards the end of January these images will be featured in-store and on social media posts. February Figure 7 At the beginning of February the rugby starts. Advertisement of the marketing campaign pictures will be on London Tubes and buses as this campaign is aimed at business men who commute daily. The adverts will also be featured in top male read magazines Men’s Health, Men’s Journal and GQ. An advertorial will also take place within GQ, near to the advert. The advert pictures will be posted on Social media. Commentators, Gabby Logan and Matt Dawson, and players will be gifted with Michael Kors clothing, suits for men, and accessories to be worn on Television and at press events. March Figure 11 The advertisement on buses and tubes and the magazines continue into March, as the rugby doesn’t finish until the end of the month. Due to using Danny Care, a high profile England rugby player, Men’s Health will be interested in doing a feature on Danny, with this he will be wearing Michael Kors during pictures, and the magazine will also feature a large Michael Kors advert. These will then be posted onto the Social Media pages April Figure 22 As the rugby has now finished Michael Kors will hold a small celebratory charity event in the flagship Regent Street store. The charity event will be in aid of Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby. Magazine press will be invited, along with the rugby team and commentators. All invited guests will be gifted with Michael Kors suits and clothing, along with accessories. Press pictures will be posted onto the brand’s social media pages. May Figure 26 As May is the beginning of prom and wedding season, and the rugby hype has calmed down, Michael Kors will offer an online discount on suits, where new subscribers will receive 20% off through an e-mailed code and current subscribers will receive 10% off, also through an e-mail code.
