Baseball team has been hot lately! Very hot in fact with 4
holding the Greyhounds to a single run in an exciting

and depth of this group of Student-Athletes who are led
by their no frills Coach David Pierce, a math teacher at
the A Rated high school.
With District wins against Vero Beach, St. Lucie West Centennial and Treasure Coast over the past few weeks the
Cobras are clearly the team to beat when the District
tournament starts in April at Tradition Field in Port St.
Lucie.
Ace freshman pitcher Brandon Stone has been a big part
of the foundation that is getting things done for the Cobra
Crew as he held Vero Beach scoreless threw 6-innings on
came to life putting up 7 runs in the last two innings while
come from behind game that saw Shortstop Sam Vaughn
account for one-third of the teams power at the plate
with 3 of his team’s 9 hits, 2 RBI’s and an intentional walk.

are set for a run at the District Title and perhaps a shot
at the elusive post season. A District Championship will
insure that at least one home game is played at “the Pit”
