time for a social life and family” Shelby says, as she practice’s her craft for 20 hours per week. Yet she maintains

Academy where she is pursuing her education in Information Technology and Networking. On top of that she
has completed over 150 volunteer hours that have been
turned into her school.
The awards she was earned have been plentiful including
State Titles in Solo, 2-Baton, X-Strut and 3-Baton.
But Shelby knows that her practice time and community
involvement will pay off down the road and currently has
her sights set on attending college at Florida State, Ari-
