Weekly social sports
Weekly social sports can be organized by the TRC youth wing without any
external assistance. Starting with the committee meeting on weekend mornings
to play captain’s ball, even a badminton tournament possibly because it polled
as the sport youth are most interested in (figure 18). The idea behind this is to
make fitness fun, accessible and directive with the organisation of weekly
fitness sessions to those who are interested in adopting an active lifestyle.
Through this, participants will be able to learn a new sport in a casual and
supportive setting. The success of these sessions will be determined by the
number of sign ups and feedback from participants.
