Although the discussions were focused on encouraging an inclusive active
lifestyle, it was also complemented with a brief discussion on eating habits and
food choices as seen below.
To help young women, in the 18 to 28 years old age range, overcome their
inhibitions, introductory personal training courses can be conducted for them to
orientate themselves in the gym setting and familiarise themselves with the
equipment. These classes will also include the teaching of gym etiquette and
hygiene. After which, it is hoped that these young women will be able to form
gym groups of their own and will be motivated to make going to the gym a
part of their lifestyles. The success of these classes will be determined through
the number of sign-ups and follow-up feedback from attendees on whether it
has increased their frequency of gym sessions. Partnering with a gym and
instructor willing to conduct these classes is essential to ensure females
continue to go to the gym in the long run.

Calorie guide for common Indian foods
To counter this lack of knowledge about the health consequences of
uninhibited consumption of calorie laden Indian food, a calorie guide can be
developed for common Indian cuisines. This will help youth and their families
make informed choices about their food intake, especially benefiting families
that eat out often. It will also be greatly advantageous for lovers of Indian food
to keep track of the calories they are consuming. Garnering the expertise of
Indians in fitness and dietetics would be ideal for this. It is envisioned that this
guide will be shared on social media platforms, like Facebook and Instagram
so that its reach can be determined through its number of views. It is important
to note that creating an accurate calorie guide may be difficult as the amount of
calories is dependent on various factors such as the type of ingredients used,
quantity of ingredients used, etc.
