Dear Diary ,
Reading back all of our family ' s stories , somehow , all of these stories become a connection between the past , present , and future . As I sit in a world that thrives in technology , it makes me reflect on how the city that once seemed vast and unfamiliar became my home , and the family ' s story keeps on unveiling . Each entry is a testament to our adaptability and reaffirms the ties that bind us across time and space .

Marie Antoinette ’ s Entries

May 4th , 1775 :
Dear diary :
I have never imagined that my people would turn against me . I thought that they adored me , that they were glad that an Austrian princess would be the queen of France . I guess I was wrong . Yesterday , the rebels attacked my precious Versailles and dirtied it with flour . They said the prices were too high and they had nothing to eat . I understand that they are not having the best chance at life , but they are blaming this on Louis and I . But is there anything we can do to bring the rain or eliminate the drought ? I mean we were always given what we wanted , I ’ ve heard a lot of peasants saying my lifestyle is extravagant and lavish but we are not wizards to solve all of their problems .
Yours truly , Marie Antoinette
