CFMOTO Ibex 950 / 1000
A New Player for the Adventure Market
CFMOTO is pushing deeper into the big-bore adventure market with the new Ibex 950, the US-market name for the company’ s flagship 1000MT-X. Built around a 946.2cc parallel-twin engine and a serious off-road chassis, the new machine gives CFMOTO another weapon in its increasingly competitive adventure range.
Unveiled globally as the 1000MT-X at EICMA 2025, the motorcycle has now been confirmed for the US market as the Ibex 950. The different name reflects CFMOTO’ s naming strategy in America, where the Ibex badge is already used on the 450MT and 800MT. Despite the 950 badge, the engine displaces 946.2cc.
At the heart of the Ibex 950 is a 946.2cc, liquidcooled, twin-cylinder engine producing 83kW( 111hp) at 8,500rpm and 105Nm of torque at 6,250rpm.
