Ducati ' s Multistrada Voyagers Winners Revealed
Epic journeys are part of Ducati ' s DNA, and in the company ' s centenary year the stories behind those adventures have taken centre stage as the winners of the 2026 Multistrada V4 Voyagers competition were announced.
Created to celebrate riders who use their Ducati Multistrada V4 motorcycles for genuine exploration rather than simply clocking kilometres, the international initiative attracted entries from enthusiasts in more than 38 countries. Riders submitted photographs, videos and personal accounts documenting everything from solo expeditions and family adventures to gruelling off-road crossings and continent-spanning road trips.
Rather than rewarding speed or competition, the Voyagers program recognises the experiences that define motorcycle travel— resilience, discovery, camaraderie and the connections forged along the way.
This year ' s edition carried added significance as Ducati marked its 100th anniversary, turning the spotlight away from the motorcycles themselves and onto the people who ride them. An internal Ducati judging panel selected six winners across categories designed to showcase the many different ways owners experience the Multistrada V4.
Taking out the award for the Most Adventurous Journey was Colombian rider Alejandro Restrepo, whose Multistrada V4 Rally carried him deep into some of South America ' s most challenging terrain. His route traversed Colombia ' s vast Llanos before pushing into the Amazon rainforest, negotiating rivers, swamps, dirt tracks and remote wilderness where reliability and fuel range were every bit as important as rider skill.
Reflecting on the journey, Restrepo described it as an experience beyond measure.
" Experiences that nothing in the world can ever take away from you: travelling through my country on such a comfortable and reliable motorcycle is priceless."
Italy ' s Claudio Muzzi received the Group Trip award after leading an ambitious 12,000-kilometre ride through 11 European countries to Nordkapp, the iconic North Cape at the northern tip of mainland Europe. The expedition encountered relentless rain, gale-force winds and a seemingly endless series of unexpected obstacles, transforming what began as a scenic tour into an exercise in teamwork and perseverance.
The Ducati Official Club Trip category highlighted one of the most demanding rides of the competition. Representing Ducati Official Club Lithuania, Justas Staikūnas and fellow club members travelled from Tangier into Morocco ' s Merzouga Desert, battling snow, freezing temperatures and roads so badly damaged that motorcycles occasionally had to be dragged by hand before finally reaching the sand dunes of the Sahara.
" Every day pushed me to the limit— and every day I responded even more strongly," Staikūnas said.
Distance itself was recognised in the Longest Journey category, which went to Colombian couple John Edisson Palacio Lopez and his wife. Riding a Multistrada V4 Rally, the pair covered more than 35,000 kilometres across eight South American countries before reaching Ushuaia, Argentina— the southernmost city on the continent and a bucket-list destination for adventure riders worldwide.
Facing bitter cold, relentless winds and daily stages of up to 1,000 kilometres, the couple ' s journey was rewarded with unforgettable wildlife encounters and the satisfaction of reaching the legendary " End of the World ".
