SNOWMOTO EXPANDS TO CANADA With New Back-Country Snowbike Tours

Turning heads in the snow-adventure world, New Zealand’ s Snowmoto— already well established in the southern hemisphere— has announced its expansion into Canada, launching guided snowbike tours in the Monashee Mountains near Sicamous and Revelstoke, British Columbia.
Snowmoto Canada invites riders to experience its fullday back-country adventures aboard premium snowbikes( Kawasaki chassis fitted with Yeti SnowMX track systems), led by expert local guides and including avalanche safety gear, fuel, terrain access fees and meals on the trail.
The company says the ride time is approximately five to six hours, with the full outing taking 7-8 hours.
The move follows Snowmoto’ s successful growth in New Zealand, where founder Hamish Goodall launched operations in 2018 and scaled to more than 25 snowbikes across two locations, carving out a unique niche in alpine snowbike tours.
The Canadian location promises similar“ untouched terrain” and iconic mountain scenery, but with far shorter travel distances for North American riders
Guests signing up for Snowmoto Canada can expect an emphasis on both thrill and safety: small guided groups, back-country terrain, and orientation before hitting the powder. The winter season for the Canadian operation runs from December through to April.
With the expansion, Snowmoto is positioning itself to tap into growing enthusiasm for snowbiking— a hybrid of dirt-bike and snowmobile culture that’ s gaining traction globally.
For riders chasing deep powder, remote alpine bowls, and an alternative to traditional snowmobiling, Snowmoto’ s Canadian launch offers a new destination. Early bookings are open and tour spaces are limited— especially given the small-group format and specialist terrain.
