A Modern Classic Reborn

Honda Revives Retro Spirit with 2026 CB1000F

Honda has unveiled the all-new 2026 CB1000F, a modern classic that revives the spirit of the legendary
1980s CB750F. Blending retro design with cuttingedge technology, the CB1000F builds on the CB1000 Hornet’ s platform to deliver what Honda calls the“ Best Balanced Roadster.” It combines big-bike performance with middleweight agility, wrapped in unmistakably‘ 80s-inspired styling.
Powered by a re-tuned 1000cc fourcylinder engine derived from the CBR1000RR Fireblade, the CB1000F produces 91kW at 9,000rpm and 103Nm at 8,000rpm, prioritising low- and mid-range torque for real-world riding enjoyment. Revised cam timing, intake and exhaust tuning give the engine a distinctive, characterful note, while a revised gearbox delivers punchy acceleration and relaxed cruising. A six-axis IMU manages ride systems, including Throttle By Wire with multiple riding modes, Honda
Selectable Torque Control, and cornering ABS. The fiveinch TFT display integrates Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, and a Smart Key system adds convenience. Suspension is handled by fully adjustable Showa units front and rear, ensuring both comfort and precision on any road.
The CB1000F’ s design pays homage to Honda’ s racing heritage with a flowing tank-to-tail silhouette, a single round LED headlamp flanked by dual horns, and Freddie Spencer – inspired graphics. Available in new Wolf Silver Metallic and Graphite Black finishes, the bike also incorporates sustainable materials, including recycled polypropylene components.
Honda will offer three accessory packs – Sport, Comfort, and Travel – to tailor the CB1000F for performance, touring, or long-distance practicality. With its blend of nostalgic style and contemporary engineering, the 2026 CB1000F reaffirms the CB legacy for a new generation of riders.
