stones , a mystery of burial that defies what we know about our past . As with the castles and fortifications we came across more stone circles that included Corrimony Cairn , another Bronze Age burial chamber amongst the nearby farmlands . It felt a little more intact yet also felt more neglected , not as popular as the previous .
We rode on , following a lakeside coastal road , looking for a monster amongst the loch . No sign of ‘ Nessy ’ yet a two mastered square-rigged ship did provide a beautiful sight .
It could become all too easy to fall into complacency while riding around the ruins of Scotland , there ’ s more than you can physically take in , the exploration of many just leads to others . As we rode on back toward Inverness a tune became lodge in my mind , so many stones , so much history , and “ all in all , it ’ s just another brick …” MG
