As Tihar drew to a close I reflected on what it means , The Festival of Lights . Maybe the lights just feel festive , they certainly look impressive from any level , yet the romantic in me came to the fore to suggest that the principle is more about enlightenment rather than the physical , I was sure I ’ d been enlightened to understand that those who give have a greater level of contentment than those who take and I knew that the next few weeks exploring this wonderous nation ,
Nepal , would continue to be an enriching experience . LW
