Over 600,000 passionate riders flocked to the Milan Fair from November 7th to 10th to experience EICMA , the world ' s premier motorcycle show . For four days , they crowded around , photographed , touched , and test-rode countless models , solo or in groups , sharing in a unique collective love for motorcycles .
This year ' s 110th edition broke all attendance records , with 40,000 more visitors than in 2023 . Combined with a 1.3 % sales growth in Italy compared to the same period in 2023 across the five major European markets ( France , Germany , Italy , Spain , and the UK ), this confirms the motorcycle industry is riding a wave of success after the Covid years . These impressive numbers are matched by the over 700 exhibitors from 45 countries and 2,163 brands . Ten pavilions hosted the public and exhibitors , with two additional pavilions – 6 and 10 – dedicated exclusively to Chinese manufacturers .
Indeed , China ' s growing presence is being felt in the motorcycle industry , a sector traditionally dominated by European and Japanese brands . This presence is not just about numbers , but also about ideas and products that are being tested by dealers and consumers alike . Some , like Voge with its Valico 525DSX , have made a significant impact , skyrocketing to the 7th spot in Italy ' s best-selling motorcycles .
To be honest , the major " made in China " brands ( CFMoto , QJ Motor , Keeway , Kove , Zontes ) didn ' t bring
